  48 displayed. Before pages were rendered line by line; now it accumulates
  49 all the HTML in a variable and does one "echo" to display the page.

  51 this means PhpWiki can be modified so the HTML can be written to a file.
  52 a whole PhpWiki site might either be served as static HTML, or
  53 periodically exported to disk after a period of activity. This is the
