From ba0f4166c6965d57d66bcef7a53014d7e2d63dcf Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: csjp Date: Sun, 6 Feb 2005 16:34:49 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Since it is not un-common for a process's resident set size (rss) to exceed 10 megabytes in size (especially in X), bump the max column width from 4 bytes to 5. This will make the ps auxw output uniform again when a process's rss exceeds 10 megs. It should be noted that when 5 digits becomes to small, other solutions should be explored such as displaying them in megabytes or having ps automatically re-size column widths.
