From 69bd77a020aa957e18da56d99061090746e0b25b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: ngie Date: Wed, 22 Mar 2017 01:11:13 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] MFC r315320: Start adding basic tests for cam(3) This change contains several negative and positive tests for: - cam_open_device - cam_close_device - cam_getccb - cam_freeccb This also contains a test for the failure case noted in bug 217649, i.e., O_RDWR must be specified because pass(4) requires it. This test unfortunately cannot assume that cam-capable devices are present, so the user must explicitly provide a device via `test_suites.FreeBSD.cam_test_device`. In the future, a test kernel module might be shipped, or ctl(4) might be used, as a test device when testing out libcam, which will allow the tests to do away with having to specify an explicit test device. git-svn-id: svn://svn.freebsd.org/base/stable/10@315696 ccf9f872-aa2e-dd11-9fc8-001c23d0bc1f --- etc/mtree/BSD.tests.dist | 2 + lib/libcam/Makefile | 6 + lib/libcam/tests/Makefile | 11 ++ lib/libcam/tests/libcam_test.c | 217 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 4 files changed, 236 insertions(+) create mode 100644 lib/libcam/tests/Makefile create mode 100644 lib/libcam/tests/libcam_test.c diff --git a/etc/mtree/BSD.tests.dist b/etc/mtree/BSD.tests.dist index 4667b9461..4ea9a375f 100644 --- a/etc/mtree/BSD.tests.dist +++ b/etc/mtree/BSD.tests.dist @@ -306,6 +306,8 @@ ttyio .. .. + libcam + .. libcrypt .. libmp diff --git a/lib/libcam/Makefile b/lib/libcam/Makefile index af28912ed..34286af92 100644 --- a/lib/libcam/Makefile +++ b/lib/libcam/Makefile @@ -43,4 +43,10 @@ CFLAGS+= -I${.CURDIR} -I${SRCTOP}/sys SHLIB_MAJOR= 6 +.include + +.if ${MK_TESTS} != "no" +SUBDIR+= tests +.endif + .include diff --git a/lib/libcam/tests/Makefile b/lib/libcam/tests/Makefile new file mode 100644 index 000000000..29f8a155a --- /dev/null +++ b/lib/libcam/tests/Makefile @@ -0,0 +1,11 @@ +# $FreeBSD$ + +ATF_TESTS_C+= libcam_test + +LDADD+= -lcam + +DPADD+= ${LIBCAM} + +WARNS?= 6 + +.include diff --git a/lib/libcam/tests/libcam_test.c b/lib/libcam/tests/libcam_test.c new file mode 100644 index 000000000..26e74c601 --- /dev/null +++ b/lib/libcam/tests/libcam_test.c @@ -0,0 +1,217 @@ +/*- + * Copyright (c) 2017 Ngie Cooper + * All rights reserved. + * + * Redistribution and use in source and binary forms, with or without + * modification, are permitted provided that the following conditions + * are met: + * 1.
