  39 This driver provides access to the watchdog timer (WDT) present on all
  40 Intel ICH chipsets.

  42 The ICH WDT counts down in ticks of approximately 0.6 seconds; the
  43 exact value depends on hardware quality and environmental factors.
  44 Supported watchdog intervals range from 2 to 63 ticks.

  46 Note that on some ICH-based systems, the WDT may be present but
  47 disabled, either in hardware or by the BIOS.
  48 The

  50 driver attempts to detect this condition and will refuse to attach if
  51 it believes the WDT is disabled.
